The scammer we nailed is this “Vladimir” guy, running this www.ss7.dev website, offering illegal phone hacking and monitoring services to the general public.
(Please click on each picture to enlarge it to full-screen size, by opening it in a new tab).
Disturbing is the fact that this www.ss7.dev scammer named “Vladimir” is Russian and shares the same name with another more famous “Vladimir” from Russia, who is also doing heinous things, but this is actually another story.
To make his scam more credible, scammer Vladimir does a few things:
- tries to distinguish himself from other “real” scammers by putting out a “scam alert” on his homepage;
- links his ss7.dev scam website to other scam websites in the clear attempt of gaining credibility and bias (thanks, Vladimir, for giving us the wonderful chance to nail three of you scammers at the price of one!): as a matter of fact, his “services” are trusted by “www.ineedhack.com” and “www.securedhacks.com”;
- claims to be providing services from a date in the distant past, to lure the victim into believing that they have been doing that for a long time up to present date.
Ignoring any other questions apart from those that scammer Vladimir did not put in his FAQ page, is part of the scam strategy.
So, considering scammer Vladimir has been so kind to provide us with the references of two more of his fellow scammers (who, on their respective websites, just returned the favor), we are now in a position to kill three birds with one stone and extend the validity of our results to both www.ineedhack.com and www.securedhacks.com and that is true (i.e.: outright scams) for every type of “service” one can find on any of those websites and other websites linked to those websites.
To prove the scam and fulfill our client’s mandate, we had to attempt purchase of one of the offered services and pay according to the received instructions from scammer Vladimir.
